A local favourite fishing spot for Westport residents is the Upper Rideau Lake. The lake is well known for its large population of smallmouth and largemouth bass, as well as lake trout, pike, yellow perch, and walleye.
Just west of Westport, Wolfe Lake is a more secluded fishing spot that offers fantastic ice fishing during the winter. With so many lakes surrounding the village, when you live in Westport, it’s easy to get out on the water.
