Homes are starting to sell quickly at Watercolour. Multiple homes sold last week alone at Watercolour as lots in Phase 2 start to move.
The real estate market fundamentals in Ontario are strengthening. According to the most recent Canadian Real Estate Association report, average real estate prices in the province are up 3% over last year. And in Ottawa, there were only 11.8 weeks of supply as of the end of June. That means it’s a strong seller’s market.
Phase 2 Home Selling
Don’t wait if you’re thinking of moving to a home and cottage in one. The first release of Phase 2 is selling quickly. Six are already sold or pending sale. Every home at Watercolour is at least Net Zero Ready. Our model home has solar panels making it a fully Net Zero home, and a Tesla Powerwall battery for storage and whole home back-up.
You can still choose from a variety of lots and even buy a move-in ready home for immediate occupancy. But you won’t have your choice of lots for long.
Right-sizing into a home and cottage in one!
The newest residents of Westport are choosing to right-size their homes. Some have sold a home in the GTA, choosing to exit the market as it regains its peak. Others have chosen to combine their home and cottage into one, trading the stress and work of keeping up the maintenance and expense of a cottage for a brand-new home of impeccable, award-winning quality right in the middle of Eastern Ontario’s premier cottage country.
Make it a “Gone fishing” kinda day in Westport 🐟
Westport is home to some of Eastern Ontario’s best fishing. USA Today featured nearby Wolf Lake in a list of prime angling in Ontario calling it a “quiet, secluded fishing spot that harbors a wide variety of game fish.” You’ll find large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and pickerel in surrounding lakes including Upper Rideau Lake and Sand Lake.
Put your boat in at the Westport marina or other boat launches on nearby lakes. Or come fish off the dock in downtown Westport. Don’t forget to visit our model home before you leave.
