Rich in history, the Rideau Canal spans 202 kilometers from north to south. Consisting of various rivers, lakes, and locks, it is the oldest continually operated canal in Canada. The canal extends from the Ottawa, through the nature rich UNESCO Frontenac Arch Biosphere until Lake Ontario, providing boaters with access to hundreds of unique bodies of water to explore.
